Renault Alpine coming to Paris Motor Show?!

Renault is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Alpine A110 this year, and because of that occasion the French car-maker will introduce a special model.
Not much info is provided but the design chief of Renault Laurenz Van Den Acker told Autocar "it would be remiss not to do something" to celebrate the original model.
The model will most likely remain just a concept but Renault's Marketing Chief Steve Norman said in a recent interview
"We have to ask: ‘Is there room in today's car market to build something that could be compared to a Porsche?"

And altough this is not confirmed yet but well we do remember something about an Alpine project right?
Maybe there is a connection between this statement of Renault and Koscheck and his people?
Untill there is any confirmation on email we will however take this as speculation, more to follow soon about this and altough we are not really a huge Renault fans this sounds as music in our ears to be honest :-)
Let's hope this isn't just show and no go!
We do however have some renderings below of what a suspected Renault Alpine for the modern world could look like.

    Rhys Millen on the golf-court.

You can imagine that Rhys Millen doesn't go on vacation without his trusty Hyundai Veloster rally car.
And when you got such a vehicle why would take that electric golf-cart then?
You just use the Veloster as a transportation-system :-)
The clip shows us what's the fastest way to get down the hill..
And how hard can it be to score a hole in one with a rally car?

2013 Mazda 6 spyshots in the snow

In late 2011 Mazda showed its Mazda Takeri Concept
However some spy photographers were able to catch a mule for the next gen Mazda6.
The mule is based on the next gen platform but still has a chopped body of the current gen mazda6,
Mazda stated that the next gen mazda6 will not in any way have something in common with the current mazda6 and will contain the company`s new SkyActiv technologies beside a new six speed gearbox.
The next Mazda6 will also be the first Mazda equipped with regenerative braking.
This system converts kinetic energy into electricity during braking and stores it in capacitors for use later in powering electrical equipment such as the air conditioning, lighting, and audio system
We expect to see the Mazda6 sedan at the Paris Motorshow later this year,.
